oh dramafest rocked! i was the indian lady for those who couldn't recognise me(my own parents culdnt recognise me with the make-up, wig and sari. so i dun blame u) but technically my main role was the script writer(thanks to ms koh for her invaluable advice, or shld i say mrs. Oh-Yang) and director(thanks to ms koh and mr lye and ms fanny[shldnt have changed my ending] here too) but i have no idea why the sec 1 play "the set-up" won best script, i mean, not to be arrogant or anyth, but mine was so much betta. i wuldnt have minded if the sec 3 script had won, at least theirs was more profound. the set-up was so cheesy and stereotypical(no offense, the acting wasn't relli bad) and we were cheated of best play! wth! dat i can't take. we had the most laughs, most attention. best interaction and unlike the play that won, every single character had his own story and alot of lines! but we did get best ensemble and jun hua got best actor(he deserved it, even tho he kept hao lian in class, damn funny lah he always act ego until uncle foo come find him)
ok now onto today's training, it was kinda cool, got to throw shot-putt 2day. Duang's big bro came down, no idea how many bro's Duang has. and his bro is like 26 yrs old but smaller dan Duang. his bro is ex hwa chong throwing cap. kool eh. he came and corrected alot of my technique. i realised i have been doing alot of wrong things all the while. and he told us that throwing is all abt the legs, contrary to common belief. and he told me i'm not pulling my left hand back to make my body face forward and up. and its kinda true cus i'm like throwing down abit. n he tot us the glide, a diff style to mr.sng which i believe is so much betta. pei xiang was like throwing 12m. den he throw with the new glide style and he immediately hit 13m! cool lah. and the guy told us not to train too hard, how to train and wad are the criteria's for a gd thrower and all that. and since hwa chong is a powerhouse in throwing, he can't be too wrong can he, n it all makes sense. and ppl! doing heavy weights does NOT develop big defined muscles. doing medium or light weights with alot alot alot of reps builds big muscles. doing heavy weights for like, 10 reps onli gives strength...so sad to say i wun be building big muscles, just power, which is essential. ok time to go do work. dun feel like it now....
